"I have done a few online group nutrition courses with Madeleine before, and have always found the advice and support is superb. After most of my adult life yo-yo dieting, and doing every fad diet, and attending every slimming club that’s out there, I had finally realised from these courses where I have been going wrong all these years.

Recently, I did an 8 week, personalised, one to one course with Madeleine. This involved a weekly telephone call and sending my weekly food, water and steps count diary to Madeleine. The phone call would usually be the day after Madeleine received my diary and reviewed it. During the phone calls Madeleine asked how things have been over the previous week, not just food intake or water, but mood, sleep, stress, etc. We would set weekly tasks or challenges, whether it be upping my steps, drinking more water, eating more protein, fruit and veg, right down to setting aside daily relaxation time, and focusing on ways to help me sleep better.

Through Madeleine’s help and advice, what I have realised is that there are so many factors involved that affect your overall health and diet, from stress to poor sleeping habits, and when you address these as work on them, eating better, and exercising just becomes second nature. I feel so much better for taking proper care of myself, eating well but allowing myself always a little bit of anything I fancy without the guilt attached. I follow Madeleine’s 80/20 rule, 80% whole natural foods, and 20% for those little extras, like a gin or two. By doing this I feel more in control and the stress of “dieting” is gone. I do not scales- hop anymore, I feel leaner, less bloated and my skin looks better too. My clothes that were pinching are now going on a lot easier. I have changed my mindset and poor habits, with the help of Madeleine, and now know that this is something I will continue to work on. I know that Madeleine is always there, if I feel things are slipping in the wrong direction.
